I only have one outfit to share this week - I wore this on Saturday to a lake-side BBQ to celebrate the homecoming of Twin Unicorn!:

What I Wore Wednesday

This is an outfit I wore out to celebrate the birthday of one of Handsome Husband's coworkers:

Purse: honestly so old I couldn't tell you

And this is what I wore out to the casino during the girls' trip in Arizona last weekend:

I've had this dress forever, and have absolutely no clue where it's from!

This week, I am sharing my version of a sporty outfit.  I got to watch Handsome Husband play soccer last weekend, and showed my ongoing support of his alma mater by wearing a hat! (Something I rarely do, considering it's on my list of things that really don't work for me.)

What I Wore Wednesday

After taking a week off, I'm back linking up for What I Wore Wednesday with The Pleated Poppy again!

This week, I am sharing what I wore on Mother's Day, when we spent the afternoon at the lake celebrating with Handsome Husband's family.

(See what I mean about the capris?  Really accentuate these stumpy legs I've got, no?)

Sandals: gift from Fashionista, but they are Steve Maddens

*I am fairly certain these pants are not actually called fants - the reason I call them fants (fake pants) is because they are super soft and stretchy like leggings, but have a fly and buttons like jeans.  Thus...fants.

What I Wore Wednesday

I am linking up with The Pleated Poppy for the first time this week for What I Wore Wednesday!  With Tutor Girl's encouragement, I am hoping it will help me to stay accountable to dress nicely and show it off!

I am not much of an accessor-izer, and I'd really like to improve on that.  My best girlfriends, Fashionista and Swagger, are so good at accessorizing - I wish that would rub off on me!  Maybe they can teach me some lessons if I ask nicely?

I will probably only be sharing one outfit per week for two reasons, (a) I wear scrubs 2-3 times a week, and I'm not sure that's exactly what WIWW is looking for, and (b) I wear yoga pants and t-shirts half the week, and I'm not quite ready to showcase that lovely ensemble for the entire blogosphere.

This week, I am sharing what I wore on Easter Sunday, when I got to spend the day with Handsome Husband's family - and was lucky enough to enjoy Lil C's first with him!
