Firsts

First thing you do when you wake up in the morning:
Hit snooze 654 times, then jump out of bed and get ready in 10 minutes flat.
On work days that is.
Weekends, I check just about every social network in existence on my phone before even thinking of getting out of bed.

First thing you reach for when you open the fridge:
If I'm just looking for a snack, it's almost always string cheese if it's coming out of the fridge.

First thing you do when you get to the gym:
Can't remember that far back, sorry I'm not sorry.

First thing you do when you get home from work:
Usually grab that string cheese, and change into a socially unacceptable outfit.

First car:
My first car was a Black Honda Civic with custom rims that I got to drive right off the showroom floor at the dealership the day after Christmas.  It was an adorable little car and I loved it until I totaled it making an unsafe left-hand turn while screaming at my exboyfriend.  Boys - always causing problems.

First accident:
One might think that the aforementioned accident was my first, but oh no, by then I was an old pro.  My first accident was driving halfway onto a parked trailer...in my own neighborhood...5 houses down from my house.  Yup.

First thing you wanted to be when you grew up:
A teacher.

First choice beverage:
Totally wish it was water, but it's usually coke, wine or lemonade.  Ecclectic beverage taste over here.

First choice breakfast:
Either my Dad's potatoes, or french toast (also prefer my Daddy-o's over almost anyone else's).

First choice dessert:
Boston Cream Pie is actually my all-time favorite dessert, but I love me a good pizooki or some mint chocolate chip ice cream also!

First song that comes to mind:
Only cause it was playing on my way to work and I've been singing it inside my head all morning - Kenny Chesney's El Cerrito Place.

First major purchase:
I don't know that I'd call it major, but the first big thing I ever bought myself was a TV.  Though I didn't need one, I saw it and had made enough money on my own to buy it and so I did.  There were times after some dramatics caused my teenage hormones where I'd think me and my TV would run away together, which was a scary thought but at least I owned my own TV.  Sidenote: Not sure why I never realized that if I had no place to live since I continually looked my gifthorse parents in the mouth, a TV would be the last of my worries.  Glad I realized life in Suburbia heaven with two parents who supported and loved me unconditionally wasn't so bad.

First job:
My first job ever was working at my mom's office doing some real thought-provoking tasks such as filing, stapling things together, and on real tough days writing labels.  My first job where the person who birthed me didn't hire me was at Claire's where I learned to pierce little girls' ears, and then promptly quit two weeks later.  My work ethic came a little later than 16-years-old.

First time you flew on a plane:
Honestly it was way before I can remember, like before I was a year - I was quite the traveling little tot, vising Gardening Momma's family back on the East Coast many times before I could even talk.

I saw this first on Joey's blog, and it inspired me.
