Lots of Link Love

Like Tara, I think it's important to emphasize the importance of community in the blog world and not only focusing on ourselves and our own blogs, but to spread lots of blog love to those who deserve it.  Every other Saturday, I will highlight the posts over the last two weeks that touched me, made me laugh, pulled at my heartstrings, and inspired me. 

• Lay shared a series of beautiful letters to herself at pivotal moments from her past.

• Meg O. celebrated her sweet babys Kennedy's 1 month birthday, and wrote some lovely words about how she felt about her little girl.

• Beth wrote a hysterical post on getting hit on, and the lowing her expectations.

• Michelle urged us to blog from the heart, and to be true to ourselves. 

• Jaclyn wrote another installation of her awesome series, "How to Date a Single Dad," in which she realized how attached she had gotten to a child she had never even met.

• Becky showed off some beautiful photos of her adorable daughter Elliana and shared this thought, "maybe 14 month old Elliana will teach something to 16 year old Elliana..."

• Dina shared the fabulous idea of using crown molding for high heel storage!

• Kim revealed that the apple does not, in fact, fall far from the tree as her 7 year old daughter has started her very own blog!

• Bec was incredibly brave to talk about the dreaded questions about having a second child when having the frist one was a miracle itself.

• Erica celebrated her 5-year anniversary with her boyfriend, and wrote a super sweet post about a fun game they play.  (And then, a few days later, her boyfriend Kurt showered her with compliments when he chimed in with his perspective on their 5 years together.)

• Amber got on her soap box, and put it pretty simply, "if you don't like what you're reading [on other's blogs], feel free to stop reading."

• Caitlin said farewell to her adorable bachelorette pad as she prepares to move in with her Boy.

Lots of Link Love is also a call to arms for you to join me and do the same - to spotlight your fellow bloggers by showcasing the posts that you loved over the past few weeks.  And when you spread the love, you might just get some back.
