This Sunday, I am grateful for my health. Yesterday we walked to raise money to find a cure for MS, and it reminded me how lucky I am to be happy and healthy today.
A few months ago, I had a health scare, and one doctor was nearly convinced my ultimate diagnosis would be Multiple Sclerosis. Since it runs in my family, and my grandmother had suffered from it for over 30 years, this hit close to home and was a really frightening time in my life. Thankfully, my problem turned out to be with my eyes, and has since resolved all on its own.
Looking at a possible future full of troubling health problems does nothing if not make you thank God for your blessings. I am so grateful for my health, and will continue to hope for a cure for those whose inevitable diagnosis was, in fact, Multiple Sclerosis or any of the other debilitating diseases that exist in our imperfect world today.

It's an inspiration that you to put together a team for the MS walk. I'm glad you went for a second opinion after that first doctor was convinced you had MS. and...I think you would look cute in glasses! ;-)
@Shellsea
I do wear glasses, Shells! LOL I just hate to wear them all the time, and I'm trying to keep my eyes from getting worse!
